As part of the lecture series for students in the course "Ethics - Effects of Entrepreneurial Action", Dr. Silvia Payer-Langthaler, CSR expert & consultant at Payer & Partner, on the topic of “sustainability management”.

At the beginning, important basic concepts such as the dimensions and models of sustainability were explained. In addition, current insights into climate change were given and conclusions were drawn for companies and their political and economic framework conditions. The event concluded with a discussion about the increasing systemic pressure on companies to act more sustainably, supplemented by an introduction to the essential regulations for companies.

Overall, the guest lecture was very interactive and, in addition to the technical input described, included both quiz questions and discussion contributions from the students.
