Sports Community Token - Overview Sports Community Token - Overview

The project "Sports Community Token" is a cooperation with Enterprise Sport Promotion in the context of the Vienna City Marathon, which deals with the safety of participants at mass sports events.

The goal of the project is to develop a new generation of "Participant Support Technology". The research prototype consists of a mini-computer with memory as well as direct, two-way wireless communication and self-power supply - all integrated in a very small space (approx. 3 cm2 ). The token creates a platform for ID management and security, among other things, as well as access to social networks.

Sports Community Token was nominated for the Wiener Zukunftspreis in the category Products and Applications in 2011 and for the Mercur Award (WKO Vienna) in 2012.
