Kinderuni 2023 - Licht und Wellen in der Medizin

Our colleague Bettina Heise shared her knowledge in the matter of optics to a young audience during a course at the JKU Kinderuni 2023.

At this year's Linzer KinderUni, again, lots of interested girls and boys took part in the course "Licht und Wellen in der Medizin" (english: "light and waves in medicine").

The course was held by colleagues from Ordensklinikum Linz/Dpt. Radioonkology, opens an external URL in a new window, the RECENDT GmbH, opens an external URL in a new window and the JKU/Institute M3DM.

Approximately 2 x 20 pupils aged 8-12 and 12-15 excitedly followed the talks and experiments on the two days and surely had some fun apart from the learning effect.
