It was a great honour for Christoph Teller to moderate the concluding panel discussion at the Austrian Retail Summit in beautiful Gmunden (Upper Austria) this October. The event was organised by the Handelsverband (Austrian Retail Association) that represents the leading retail organisation in the country. Amongst the panel members were the Federal Minister for Agriculture Elisabeth Köstinger, the (recently inaugurated) CEO of SPAR Austria Fritz Poppmeier, the president of the Federal Chamber of Agriculture Josef Moosbrugger and the Head of the Austrian Brand Association Günter Thumser. The audience experienced exciting insights and discussions around the contemporary topic of sourcing, marketing and selling regional food products and brands during the times of Covid 19.
