Welcome to the Center for Surface and Nanoanalytics (ZONA)!

Established in 2008, the Center for Surface and Nanoanalysis (ZONA) is an interdisciplinary institute at the Johannes Kepler University, providing assistance to TN institutes - mainly the departments of physics and chemistry - in the area of modern nanoanalytical measuring methods to support base-knowledge research. The institute also provides the same measuring devices and methods to support industry in (Upper) Austria.

ZONA operates at the crossroads of base-knowledge and applied research, and supports research and university-level education, particularly Diploma degree students and doctoral candidates at TN institutes.
