eTeACHERS

electronic Toolkit for eAccessibility in Higher Education Remote Settings

EU project, Erasmus+, period: 04/2021 - 03/2023

The eTEACHERS project aims to create a toolkit to support and enable higher education instructors to design inclusive education materials, in an effort to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students who have disabilities, and contribute to a digital transformation in education, making education inclusive and attractive, thereby changing and reshaping of present models.

The eTEACHERS project aims to:

  • analyse the current situation with regards to digital inclusive education readiness of higher education teachers.
  • identify, reuse and share good practices on innovative and open methods and tools for the provision of high quality inclusive digital education at university level. - To develop an online toolkit with selected resources based on user needs, test and validate it.
  • develop a set of guidelines containing recommendations on inclusive digital education that can be scaled up to other European universities.
  • collaborate across sectors to disseminate project results and engage universities and other stakeholders beyond the partnership.
