EGOS Keynote Speech "Sustainable Academic Lives" and other EGOS activities at the Institute

Elke Schüßler was invited to act as a keynote speaker for the upcoming PhD and Postdoctoral Workshop of the 2020 European Group of Organizational Scholars, opens an external URL in a new window conference. Originally scheduled to take place in Hamburg, the conference has now been fully moved to a virtual platform. Together with Tammar Zilber (Hebrew University Jerusalem) and Christian Huber (University of Hamburg), Elke Schüßler is organizing the Pre-Colloquium Post-Doctoral & Early Career Scholars Workshop with the topic "Path to a Meaningful Career, opens an external URL in a new window". Young scholars are invited to reflect on their current and aspired CVs and will discuss tensions in shaping their career paths together with experienced scholars from around the world. Together with Georg Reischauer (JKU/WU) and Henri Schildt (Aalto University), Elke Schüßler is also organizing the subtheme 41 with the title "Organizing Innovation and Entrepreneurship in and for a Sustainable Society, opens an external URL in a new window". Roman Duffner and Benjamin Schiemer are presenting a paper on band identities in Subtheme 22 on "Creative Industries, opens an external URL in a new window". Elke Schüßler together with Jörg Sydow (FU Berlin), Birke Otto (Copenhagen Business School) and Lukas Vogelgsang (IRS Erkner) is also presenting a paper on temporal work in pharmaceutical R&D in the Standing Working Group 1 "Organization and Time, opens an external URL in a new window".
