The Hertie School of Governance Berlin is organizing a virtual workshop on the important topic of "Work in the digital age: The challenges of platform firms, opens an external URL in a new window" from the 16th to the 24th of March. The workshop brings together scholars and practitioners from Germany, the U.S. and beyond to discuss the future of work in the digital era. It is hosted by Anke Hassel (Hertie School) in cooperation with Martin Kenney (UC Davis) and John Zysman (UC Berkeley). Elke Schüßler from the Institute of Organization Science has been invited to present her research on crowdwork platforms and voice mechanisms (together with Thomas Gegenhuber, Leuphana University).
