Bachelor thesis

The Bachelor's thesis is a text written according to scientific criteria, with which students prove at the end of their Bachelor's degree that they are able to work independently on a scientific problem.

Realisation

Writing a Bachelor's thesis at our institute is only possible within the framework of a research seminar explicitly designated for Bachelor's theses. Such a seminar is offered every semester. In this seminar, the student and the supervisor discuss the topic, the procedure and the intended schedule of the Bachelor's thesis. The writing of the thesis happens during the semester, so that the work is completed at the end of the semester.

The assignment of a Bachelor's thesis requires the completion of the subject 'Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten' and 'Gender Studies'.

Formal

With the Bachelor thesis, 6 credit points (ECTS) can be achieved. The thesis should consist of approximately 30 pages or 9,000 words (not including the cover page, table of contents, appendix and bibliography) and must be submitted to the supervisor as a bound text by e-mail or via Moodle.
