Arrival by Plane:

- The closest airport is the Blue Danube Airport in Linz-Hörsching (LNZ). The “Blue Danube Airport Shuttle” (bus no. 601) is a convenient way to travel from the airport to the city center in about 20 minutes. The bus stop at the Airport is in front of the arrival hall. Tickets are available on the bus (cash only) or at the ticket machine at the station.

- Alternatively, there is also Vienna Airport. There is a train station in the airport (see below for further information).

Arrival by Train:

• Tram: Take tram line 1 or 2 in the direction of JKU l Universität. The journey takes about 30 minutes from the main railway station.
• Express Bus: In the mornings you can use the express bus line 77 from the main train station in the direction of JKU l Universität Nord. Departure times on weekdays are 07.33, 07.45, 08.00, 08.20, 08.40. The journey takes about 20 minutes.

Bicycle, e-scooter

Ride northwest over the "Nibelungenbrücke" bridge to the "Donaulände" and continue along the Danube bike path (heading away from the city center). After approximately 3 km, exit the bike path going toward Freistädterstraße. Turn right on to Freistädterstraße and at the first ntersection, turn left on Johann-Willhelm-Klein-Straße. Continue approximately 700 meters to Mengerstraße and turn left on to the JKU Campus. The distance is approximately 5.3 km.

By car

The university has two parking lots and an underground garage located under the Science Park. Please use the entrance on Mengerstraße, preferably coming from Johann-Wilhelm-Klein-Straße/Freistädter Straße.
