Arrival by Plane:

- The closest airport is the Blue Danube Airport located in Linz-Hörsching (LNZ). The “Blue Danube Airport Shuttle” (Bus No. 601) is a convenient way to travel from the airport to the city center in approximately 20 minutes. The airport bus stop is located in front of the arrival hall. Tickets are available in the bus (cash only), or at the station's ticket machine.

- Arriving at the Vienna Airport is also an option. You can catch a train to Linz directly at the airport (detailed information is available below).

Arrival by Train:

• The Tram: Take tram lines 1 or 2 in the direction of JKU l Universität. From the train station, the trip to the JKU is approximately 30 minutes.
• Express Bus: In the mornings, you can take an express bus, Line 77, from the main train station to the JKU l Universität Nord. Weekday departure times *in the morning* are as follows: 07.33, 07.45, 08.00, 08.20, 08.40. The bus ride is approximately 20 minutes.

Bicycle, e-scooter

Cycle northwest, over the "Nibelungenbrücke" bridge, to the "Donaulände" and continue along the Danube bike path (heading away from the city center). After approximately 3 km, exit the bike path toward Freistädterstraße. Turn right on Freistädterstraße and at the first ntersection, turn left on Johann-Willhelm-Klein-Straße. Continue approximately 700 meters to Mengerstraße and turn left to the JKU campus. The distance is approximately 5.3 km.

By car

The university has two outdoor parking lots, and an underground garage located under the Science Park buildings. Please use the entrance on Mengerstraße, preferably coming from Johann-Wilhelm-Klein-Straße/Freistädter Straße.
