Curriculum Vitae

Elisabeth Berger is professor for Entrepreneurship – New Business Venturing and Innovative Regions at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. She worked previously at the University of Hohenheim, earning her PhD in 2016.

Her research focuses on the perception of - and social evaluations in - entrepreneurship, the role of entrepreneurship and innovations in transformation processes as well as entrepreneurial ecosystems. Her work has been published in various entrepreneurship and management journals, including the Journal of Business Venturing, the Journal of Business Research, and the European Management Journal.
Elisabeth Berger is co-editor of the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research (https://www.emeraldinsight.com/loi/ijebr, opens an external URL in a new window) and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Business Research, department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Knowledge (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-business-research, opens an external URL in a new window).
