Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nicole Kronberger

About the person

Nicole Kronberger has been working at the Institute of Psychology at the JKU since 2012, where she is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social Psychology, Human Resource Development and Adult Education, where she is responsible for the areas of social psychology, social competence and research methods. Prior to this, she spent time teaching and researching at the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK), the University of Cambridge (UK), the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE, Portugal) and Kyoto University (Japan), among others. She received her doctorate from the University of Vienna, habilitated at the JKU and participated in numerous international research collaborations. In her projects, she addresses social challenges of modern societies from a socio-psychological perspective and often in interdisciplinary collaboration, on topics such as dealing with (technological) innovation, social and cultural aspects of human experience, stereotypes and discrimination, intergroup relations, and negotiation processes.
