The Young Scholar Initiative (YSI) of the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) is a community of students and young researchers from all over the world who are pursuing new and critical approaches to economics. The 21 working groups organise reading groups, workshops and conferences and thus promote the intellectual exchange of young, critical minds. For the 2024-2025 term of office, Anna Hornykewycz and Johanna Rath, both PreDocs and project members at the ICAE, have taken on the position of coordinator in the working groups 'Sustainability' (Anna Hornykewycz) and 'Philosophy of Economics' (Johanna Rath).
