Diese werden für Publikationen in führenden ökonomischen Zeitschriften jährlich verliehen. Im ersten Jahr wurden u.a. Publikationen im Journal of the European Economic Association und im Journal of Public Economics ausgezeichnet. Die Preisträger waren: Wolfgang Frimmel und Martin Halla, Matthias Fahn, Rudolf Winter-Ebmer und Wolfgang Frimmel, Jochen Güntner, Tom Schober und Gerald Pruckner sowie Alexander Ahammer.

These are awarded annually for publications in leading economic journals. In the first year u.a. Publications awarded in the "Journal of the European Economic Association" and in the "Journal of Public Economics".
