The Institute for Integrated Quality Design (IQD) pursues an interdisciplinary research and teaching program at the interface of innovation, sustainability and quality management. Research and teaching are focused on the management of product innovation and related circular strategies to significantly reduce resource consumption, waste and pollution. The IQD is a leading international research institute in a strong network of academic institutions and industry networks (e.g. Circular Economy Initiative of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation).

The position is advertised at 100% for pre-docs and 90% for post-docs. Tasks and profile depend on the academic level.

Job Duties:

• Contributing to IQD’s interdisciplinary research agenda on Sustainable Business | Circular Economy | Innovation/Transformation
• Publishing in high-quality journals
• Developing research funding proposals
• Teaching in Bachelor/Master/Doctorate or Executive programmes
• Coaching of doctoral students
• Exchange with stakeholders from practice (e.g. industry, government)

Your Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral/PhD Degree
• Expertise in Sustainable Business | Circular Economy | Sustainable Technology/Innovation or related fields
• Experience in peer-reviewed journals (Postdoc level)
• Enthusiasm for research, high performance orientation, and team spirit
• English language skills (spoken and written C1); German of advantage

What We Offer:

• On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,578.80 gross per month as a Graduate Teaching Assistant holding a Diploma/Master’s degree and € 4,752.30 gross per month as a University Assistant holding a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
