The JKU's Media Search Machine

In addition to conventional material available in the online catalog, LISSS is your one-stop search engine providing access to a wide range of eBooks, numerous eJournal articles, specialized databases, JKU online publications (ePUB), and other sources.

By using modern search technology such as LISSS, you can directly access eBooks and countless licensed full text articles.

LISSS, the Literature Search Support Service, is the main access point to find materials at the JKU.

Databases / DBIS

DBIS contains access links to databases for which the JKU holds a number of licenses.

Your search results will immediately provide you with either full texts or citations.

If there are no full-text hits, many databases give you a direct link to the union catalog or to EZB.
By using SFX, the university library can best provide you with full-text linking.

eJournals / EZB

EZB provides full-text material from over 80,000 either openly accessible or licensed eJournals.

In addition to searching for a specific journal, you can also look at a list of eJournals on a particular subject area. See the gray I(nfo) button.
