Public holidays The Learning Center and all JKU libraries are closed on holidays, including these:    
   Thursday, May 26th (Ascension Day)
   Monday, June 6th (Pentecost Monday)
   Thursday, June 16th (Corpus Christi)

Modified Library Hours Regular hours resume, except:
   Friday, May 27th: 8.30 am - 1.00 pm

The Library at the Faculty of Medicine is mainly an e-library, providing special materials to JKU faculty members, students and researchers at the JKU Faculty of Medicine.

Print Inventory

The print inventory (mainly textbooks) has been categorized in accordance with the Classification of the National Library of Medicine (NLM), opens an external URL in a new window.

Circulation

JKU students, JKU employees and general library users may borrow books and materials.
The loan period is 4 weeks.

Locations

In addition to the textbook collection and open access area in the library, there are a few reference libraries. Corresponding information is available in the online catalog.

Electronic Inventory

Log in both on or off campus (for example, from home) to access all of the eResource materials licensed by the JKU.

Scanning, Printing, and Copying

Library users at the JKU Faculty of Medicine Library have access to a color copier and a book scanner.

Courses Developing the Collection Further

The JKU Faculty of Medicine is consistently working to develop a collection of medical materials at the university.
