Acland Anatomy Complete (Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy) is available to JKU employees and students on a trial basis.
This video atlas of anatomy shows the anatomy of the human body in 3D quality and is easy to understand. An index facilitates access to the video atlas.
Medical Knowledge and Learning Platform
Trial access to June 30, 2020 for faculty members at Johannes Kepler University. The physician mode provides concrete diagnosis and therapy recommendations for reference. Faculty members can register.
(AMBOSS has already been permanently licensed for students for some time now. By selecting the pre-clinic or clinic mode, students can access a comprehensive learning system, with commented examination questions and precise knowledge content).
EBSCO Databases: Academic Search Ultimate, Business Source Ultimate, eBook Academic Collection
Trial access to August 20, 2020
Academic Search Ultimate
is an extensive, multidisciplinary database evaluating scientific journals, magazines, reports, books and videos in all subject areas.
Some journals have files dating back to 1975 or earlier.
The database contains full texts of over 9,200 journals, of which over 8,400 are peer-reviewed and over 5,300 are included in WoS or Scopus. There are over 60,000 videos from 1930 onwards by the Associated Press; these are prominently displayed in the results list and are updated monthly.
Business Source Ultimate
contains the full texts for economic journals, many of them are peer-reviewed (plus videos from the Associated Press news agency). The database also contains case studies, company profiles, SWOT analyses, e-books, market analyses, articles from business and trade journals, and much more.
eBook Academic Collection
Extensive and ever-growing interdisciplinary eBook collection. Access titles by browsing subject lists and using the advanced search.
Read full texts online immediately; limited downloads are available.
Note: Please use the link listed under "Start Research" ("Recherche starten"). Click on "EBSCOhost Web" and at the bottom of the page, you will find access links to the three test databases. Check the box and click Continue to access the respective database.

Video database that teaches laboratory basics through easy-to-understand video demonstrations. (These videos are available with English subtitles; just click on the "CC" button in the video and the preferred language).
Trial access to July 31, 2020
Starting immediately, 156 updated, German-language textbooks in the fields of business administration, economics, medicine, psychology, mathematics, statistics, chemistry, physics, electrical engineering and computer science are available as electronic full texts.
The titles are available to JKU employees and JKU students to the end of July. After this date, the most requested titles will be made permanently available by the library based on the usage figures.
Thieme e-Book Library Studies and Education
Trial access to July 31, 2020
The Thieme eRef database currently contains a package of eBooks by the JKU that is licensed and permanently activated.
Thieme Publishing is granting trial access to all available titles in its textbook platform for JKU employees and students until the end of July 2020.
