DIGI-Sense (Digital Sensemaking) focuses on sensemaking during digitalization processes, particularly during the interaction between digital twins and robotics. Artistic engagement – with a specific focus on dance and performance – is central to the research method to acquire insight into embodiment and the relevance of aesthetic/sensory understanding during the sensemaking processes. The team aims to better understand the underlying mechanisms of artful articulation and sensemaking as part of digital transformation projects by examining the socio-technical design and developmental process through the lens of a digital twin (DT). There is also a special focus on conducting research on the aesthetics, aesthetic experiences, and embodied knowledge in relation to sensemaking processes.
