In October 2021, the faculty of economics at the university of Duisburg-Essen started a new series of events, opens an external URL in a new window, at which changing subjects are presented and discussed. Main focus of the lecture cycle is digitization and sustainability. The panel addresses a scientifically-interested audience and takes place several times a year.
The next event of the series takes place on 5 April 2022 from 5 pm to 6:30 pm and will be broadcast via Zoom. As speaker, Prof. Dr. Elke Schüßler will present the topic “Between exploitation and autonomy: narrative and practice of digital platform work”.
