Lunch Time Seminar - February 3, 2022

Discussion and networking in a casual environment.

[Translate to Englisch:] Lunch Time Seminar via Zoom

On February 3, approximately 25 academics from Mittelbau BWL/WIN came together at the Lunch Time Seminar to talk about two current research projects.

Daniela Cortés and Albert Traxler (Institute of Management Accounting) spoke about the kind of content in sustainability reports by construction companies and whether or not differences in the reports can be explained by the size, stock exchange listing, or the company's region of origin. Katharina Musil (Institute of Leadership and Change Management) presented an empirical analysis revealing the identities of senior physicians at hospitals and focusing on the conflict between manager and physician identities.

The presentations were followed by an extensive discussion via Zoom. In addition, the two participants, Eva Wagner (Institute of Corporate Finance) and Christine Blanka (Institute of Entrepreneurship) provided the speakers with valuable insight.

Those unable to attend this time as well as those who took part can look forward to the next session which will take place on June, 3, 2022 betwee 12:30 - 2:00 PM.

About the event: Organised by Tanja Wolf (Institute of Controlling & Consulting) and Thomas Brunner-Kirchmair (Institute of Corporate Finance), the Lunch Time Seminar takes place approximately three times a year. The fundamental idea is to bring academics in Mittelbau BWL/WIN together in a more informal setting to exchange ideas and get feedback about their research.
