Thomas Fischer from the Institute for Digital Business has been involved in the organisation and dissemination of the results of an annual conference that focuses on research that applies knowledge and methods from the field of neuroscience to information systems topics (i.e., the NeuroIS Retreat). The proceedings of the NeuroIS Retreat 2020, published by Springer, are now available and Thomas Fischer is featured as one of the editors. In addition, together with his colleague René Riedl (JKU and FH Oberösterreich) he has also published an article in these proceedings, which summarizes the results of several studies that compared physiological and self-report tools for the measurement of stress perceptions caused by digital technologies (i.e., Chapter 9: “Technostress Measurement in the Field: A Case Report”).
