Project by UN women

Almina Bešić, jointly with colleagues from the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina has recently been awarded a project by UN women on “Resilience of Women-Owned Businesses to Crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Key challenges, opportunities and programming options”. Almina is the principle investigator and with her team aims to better understand the impact of COVID-19 on women-owned businesses in transition economies. The project is ongoing until Summer 2021 and will result in recommendations not only for further research, but for policy makers and business-owners alike.
