Almina Bešić participated at ICMPD’s Vienna Migration Conference 2019 and gained valuable insights about the EU’s future policy plans regarding migration and integration of migrants at the labour market and in companies across the EU. Interesting new plans include the EU’s effort to better cooperate with the private sector and especially employers on labour market integration issues. We are happy to see that IIM’s research focus is reflected by policy initiatives of the EU.
