Vice-Rector Elgin Drda and Prof. Dr. Andreas Gruber, MBA (Assistant Dean of Research) presented Prim. Priv. Doz. Dr. Simon Kargl with his venia legendi/habilitation certificate. Univ. Prof. Dr. Tobias Gotterbarm (Assistant Medical Director) was among the numerous Kepler University Hospital colleagues at the medLOFT ceremony on hand to offer their congratulations.

Simon Kargl, head of the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery at the Kepler University Hospital, wrote a post-doctoral dissertation titled "Seltene ischämische Komplikationen und Notfälle in der Kinderchirurgie".
