The event included cool tonka bean cocktails, tasty bites provided by the Obelisk team, light summer music vibes provided by DJ Chiko, and fun team challenges!
On July 6, 2023, over 150 members came together on a warm summer evening in front of the LIT Open Innovation Center to ring in the summer and celebrate their unique co-working space.
Every day, we work together with companies, start-ups, LIT Research Labs, and JKU institutes in more than 8000 m² to pioneer new ideas, technologies and projects.
Thank you for your dedication, involvement, and participation!
Party highlights included our LIT Games & Challenges in which teams came together by raffle to compete in game-like challenges to win a keg of beer. Organized by the LIT Factory, the JKU HOERBIGER Research Institute for Smart Actuators and the LIT Law Lab, three challenges got guests to put their skills to the test: The "Hit-the-Hole-Challenge" ball challenge the "Insane Paper Planes Challenge" had guests building large-scale paper planes, and the "Tossing Tiles Challenge" to test throwing skills.
A photo box and a raffle provided unforgettable moments that encourged co-workers to make new acquaintances. Six LIT swag bags were raffled off and in terms of community building, the event was a great success!
Guests were treated to vegan, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian culinary delights cooked up by the team at the pop-up Obelisk sausage stand. Our members voted in advance for this year's signature cocktail, the Tonka Gimlet (dry, sweet & fresh and beautifully decorated with party feathers) which was enjoyed by all!
A big thank you to all of the helping hands, especially the LIT Factory, the LIT Law Lab and the JKU HOERBIGER Research Institute for Smart Actuators for organizing the games and challenges! Most of all, however, we would like to thank our OIC members who came together to make the party a success😊!
