Linz Clinician Scientist Program.

Clinician Scientist Program (CSP) and the Advanced Clinician Scientist Program (ACSP)

Medical advancements require physicians capable of conducting high-quality research.

The innovative Linz Clinician Scientist Program aims to give physicians at the Kepler University Hospital sufficient time and space to conduct academic/scientific research by supporting paid leave from the daily clinical routine.

The Clinician Scientist Program (CSP) serves to support junior physicians at KUK who are at the beginning of their scientific career and wish to complete the doctoral degree program in Medical Sciences at the JKU MED.

The Advanced Clinician Scientist Program (ACSP) is a qualification program for KUK medical specialists who have completed their doctoral studies in medical sciences, or who hold comparable qualifications, and aim to pursue post-doctoral qualifications at the JKU MED.

The next call for the program start date October 1st, 2025 will be opened approximately in autumn 2024 and will be announced in due course.

In order to take part in the CSP or ACSP, you must successfully pass the admissions procedure. As part of a review process, three reviewers and a nominated selection committee will evaluate the submitted application documents based on the outlined evaluation criteria.

If you have any questions about the program, the submission process, or the admissions procedure, further information can be found here, opens a file.
