Linda Greuter

Linda Greuter is a research associate at the Institute for Legal Gender Studies (JKU Linz)

Linda Greuter earned her doctorate degree at the JKU’s Institute of Legal Gender Studies in June of 2021. Her research focuses on Article 8 of the ECHR and the fundamental right's procedural aspect. In addition to her academic pursuits, she has worked as an attorney, providing legal assistance to various NGOs (including Equal Rights Beyond Borders in Athens and Chios, Caritas, and Helping Hands in Linz), focusing on asylum and migration issues. Greuter has extensive experience in providing legal consultation and conducting awareness-raising workshops in Austria and Greece to support female asylum seekers from diverse backgrounds. She co-hosts the institute’s podcast series, ‘Gender and Law’ (‘Gender und Recht’), opens an external URL in a new window which is available on Spotify.
