The Future We Want!

My interest is in the future because I am going to spend the rest of my life there.
-Mark Twain

Creating the Future Together.
Technological advances are transforming everyday life, giving rise to new opportunities that will benefit society and give science a chance to explore exciting frontiers. We want to collectively tap into the potential! Open innovation in science will give research a chance to focus on society's needs even more.

The World is Our Laboratory.
We aim to cultivate a new culture by fostering openness and communication between society and science. As part of organized Open Innovation in Science workshops and events, we are inviting researchers to experiment and explore. We are supporting concrete projects at the JKU and will work side-by-side with project managers to implement their projects, thereby providings a creative, fertile foundation to support future collaboration and broader perspectives.

Our goal is create added-value for everyone involved and create "The Future We Want" together!
