After completing a Matura diploma, it's off to college. That's usually how it works. However, the JKU would like to welcome you and your students beforehand. Prospective students can get a taste of campus life and see what it's all about before graduating.
The "KinderUni" summer program, the JKU Open Lab, campus tours: The JKU offers a lot to everyone of all ages. Compete with others, take part in exciting programs, and take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about your favorite subject area. We say: "Venture Out of the Classroom!": most of the programs take place right on the JKU campus.
We can also come to your school and talk with you about what 'studying' is all about. We also offer a special program for gifted students, something we feel strongly about here at the JKU.
As Upper Austria's largest educational institution, the Johannes Kepler University is just 50 years old but surprisingly at the forefront of cutting-edge developments. Even at this age, the JKU is one of Austria's youngest universities, featuring over 100 academic degree programs with over 24,000 enrolled students.
