JKU Young Mathematics Scientists.

Streaming music, withdrawing money, forecasting the weather or looking into space - mathematics makes all of this possible. Learn how to apply mathematical theories to real-world practices.

The JKU Young Scientists program in Mathematics gives you an opportunity to meet internationally renowned researchers and experts. You not only learn from them during workshop sessions, you will also learn more about prospective careers and degree programs.

As a JKU Young Scientist, you have a unique opportunity to complete a summer internship at the JKU or at a well-known company in Upper Austria.

Summer Internship

Those who attend the 3 scheduled workshops can apply for a paid summer internship at the Johannes Kepler University Linz during the summer of 2025. It is, however, up to the individual institutes to decide which intern will be accepted. Participation in the program does not automatically guarantee an internship position.

We would like to thank our cooperation partners for supporting the JKU Young Mathematics Scientists program in 2024/25:

Please note!

When signing up, please indicate whether or not you are interested in a summer internship. You will be notified regarding additional information about available internship positions.
