Director Müller played a key role in helping to lay the foundations for the Johannes Kepler University Linz: When the JKU was established In 1966, he was in charge of managing the university's first student dormitory. The dorm on Altenberger Straße is largely on account of his efforts and Peter Paul Müller also worked tirelessly to build up the student community that now characterizes the campus today.

As managing director of the OÖ. Studentenwerk, he actively campaigned for the construction of numerous dormitories, including the Julius Raab student residence hall in Linz, the student residence hall at  the Hagenberg University of Applied Sciences, and boarding facilities at vocational colleges in Bad Ischl and Bad Leonfelden.

For nearly four decades, Peter Paul Müller played an important part in structuring the Upper Austrian Student Union. The JKU is grateful for his unwavering commitment to all of his efforts. Our thoughts are with Peter Paul Müller's family during this time.
