In the spirit of openness, the workshop was characterized by its interdisciplinary nature. Researchers from the Universities of Innsbruck, Linz and Vienna came together and brought expertise from different disciplines such as computer science, strategy research and organizational research. This diverse mix of knowledge and perspectives greatly enriched the discussions and exchanges. Our PhD student Johannes Winkler was able to contribute significantly to the workshop through his presentation on the current research project "Decentralized Forms of Organizing: An Integrative Review". The enthusiasm and commitment of all participants signaled that this was certainly just the starting signal for further research and collaboration in this exciting field!
