Strategy network meeting in Wiesbaden

[Translate to Englisch:] Strategie-Netzwerktreffen Wiesbaden

At the beginning of November, our colleague Theresa Füreder accepted the invitation of Dr Kim Louisa Dillenberger, Prof. Dr Ronald Gleich and Anne Kowalski (Frankfurt School, Centre for Performance Management and Controlling) to Wiesbaden in Germany to present her research project on Open Strategy during a meeting of the Strategy Network for SMEs at Henkell Freixenet.

The members of the strategy network meet twice a year to discuss current and relevant topics of the company members. During the last meeting, the members focussed on the topic of integrating sustainability into the strategy. Company representatives from Henkell Freixenet, Rowe Mineralölwerk GmbH, Renolit and Bosch shared exciting insights from their companies regarding the integration of sustainability into strategy. Our colleague Ms Füreder presented exciting scientific insights on how an open approach to strategy design - Open Strategy - could support companies in strategy formulation. With her keynote speech on the topic of "Initiating open strategy processes in companies", Ms Füreder not only provided exciting insights into her research, but also opened up a discussion platform for the company representatives. Together, they discussed their experiences, opinions and questions about the application of Open Strategy.
