"A Specter is Haunting Europe" - Karl Marx Bicentenary

His writings influenced the 20th century and shaped world history. Numerous events will mark Karl Marx’ bicentenary (1818-1883).

Many events will be supervised and coordinated by the Institute of Sociology (JKU). A touring exhibition titled "200 Jahre Karl Marx ... die Welt verändern" will provide insight into the phenomenon of "Karl Marx". The exhibition can be viewed at the JKU from March 19 – 23, 2018.
