Conference Revolves on the Spin

It all revolved around physics: Researchers from over 25 countries met at the JKU to discuss new developments in spin physics.

The five-day, bi-annual conference included discussions about base-knowledge physics, nanotechnology, information technology, and materials sciences. In addition, participants discussed the latest findings and future research and applications. Away from the conference rooms, participants enjoyed an outing to the St. Florian Abbey, learning more about Austria’s rich cultural traditions and history.

The "10th International School and Conference on the Physics and Applications of Spin Phenomena in Solids – PASPS10" was organized by the Department of Solid State Physicis (under the direction of: Univ. Prof. Alberta Bonanni).
