"The Next Renaissance" is new publication featuring a compilation of approximately 40 contributions by over 60 researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and art and culture professionals from all over Europe. As EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated in 2021 when initiating the New European Bauhaus Initiative, the Green Transformation is " … not just an environmental or economic project: it needs to be a new cultural project for Europe". Based on this approach, the publication serves as a starting point to bring visions, ideas and best practice examples together and shape Europe's future against the backdrop of major transformation and present-day challenges.

Under the title "Innovation through Universitas" and based on examples at the Johannes Kepler University, Vice-Rector Christopher Lindinger and Kerstin Pell contributed a piece expressing just how important cross-disciplinary action is, especially when it comes to bringing art and science together.
