Based on an initiative by Prof. Sigmar Stadlmeier, LL.M. (head of the Institute for International Law, Aviation Law and International Relations), the Aviation Law Forum held its first half-yearly conference at the JKU. An association of German, Swiss and Austrian legal experts in aviation law, the Aviation Law Forum focuses on fundamental dogmatic and real-world issues of delegated legislation in European aviation law as well as current laws regarding liability issues associated with air freight and following airplane accidents. The next conference will take place in Cologne in March 2020.
