JKU Corona Update with legal questions about lockdown

The new lockdown is set to break the dramatic second wave of the corona pandemic in the next few weeks. Only then will the health system remain functional. At the same time, as seldom before, fundamental rights and freedoms are at stake. Apart from that, the scope of the exit restrictions is particularly questionable. It is also of interest which legal measures can be considered in the future to avoid a third wave. The JKU is resuming its much-noticed Corona update on the occasion of the second lockdown in November and will send a Corona update every Monday in November. JKU Corona Update today, Monday at 12 noon: Dean Prof. Michael Mayrhofer and constitutional lawyer Prof. Andreas Janko analyze the content, limits and constitutional conformity of the new "COVID-19 Protective Measures Ordinance" in the livestream.
