The JKU Coronavirus Update
November 23, 2020, 12:00 PM – Topic: "Vaccination".
Our lives will not return to normal until a coronavirus vaccine is available and one that is widely accessible to a majority of the world's population. Politicians and experts more or less openly support the prerequisite to this argument of a vaccine. Scientists have been working feverishly on creating a vaccine and we often hear about the progress in the news. Are these stories true? And if there is a vaccine - who gets it? Will getting vaccinated be optional or are there good reasons to make it mandatory? Rector Meinhard Lukas addresses these and other issues with renowned virus researcher Prof. Peter Palese, head of the Department of Microbiology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Here you will find an overview of past installments of the JKU Coronavirus Update.
