A little bit of ‘normal life’ in the middle of a war: 25 Ukrainian high school students can prepare for the International Mathematical Olympiad at the JKU until June 4.

The International Mathematical Olympiad will take place in Oslo (Norway) in July. Under expert tutelage, the participating students will practice and hone their math skills at the JKU. During the process, it will be decided which of them will represent the Ukraine at the Olympiad. Oliver Roche-Newton (Institute of Algebra at JKU) remarked: "When Ukrainian organizer Oleksiy Klurman appoached us, we immediately wanted to help. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors paying for the students’ accommodation and meals."
