Initiated by the European Commission, Vice-Rector Alberta Bonanni signed the Manifesto on behalf of the JKU to support EU Covid-19 research. In an effort to further support and strengthen the fight against COVID-19, the Manifesto endeavors to make research findings from EU-funded coronavirus studies – such as studies about prevention, testing, treatment and vaccine development - as openly accessible as possible.
