The 10th anniversary of the association was celebrated on April 10. The anniversary meeting took place at the JKU Business School and was organized by professors Sophie Parragh and Cristina Olaverri. Xenia Haslinger and Sophie Parragh presented the “Zero Emission Mobility Salzburg (ZEMoS)” project and Cristina Olaverri’s team provided tours through the Intelligent Transportation Systems department and presented their delivery robot and simulation laboratory. Also, the self-driving car, equipped with new sensors, could be tested. In the afternoon, Miriam Enzi, Managing Director Amazon Logistics Austria, gave valuable insights into last mile innovations at Amazon.

The members of LRA meet several times a year for discussions on current and planned projects and with practitioners. LRA is a member of ALICE, the European "Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe" (https://www.etp-logistics.eu, opens an external URL in a new window) with representatives in several working groups.

Logistics Research Austria also publishes the “Yearbook of Logistics Research” every two years. The last volume (volume 4) was published in fall 2023: Jahrbuch der Logistikforschung Band 4, opens an external URL in a new window
