The JKU Astros faced the Vienna Med Uni Serpents on the final day of the standard season, just ahead of the play-offs.
It was an important game for both teams as they prepared for the upcoming play-offs. The JKU Astros men’s team dominated the game from start to finish with razor-sharp precision and a solid defense, and ultimately securing a compelling victory against the Med Uni Serpents with a final score of 78:35.*
In contrast, the JKU Astros women’s team played a tense, hard-fought game. The opposing Med Uni women's team has proven to be particularly strong this season. Nevertheless, the JKU Astros women’s team fought hard and held their own in a fiercely contested game, coming out on top after four exciting quarters with a final score of 54:40.
As always, it was a highly anticipated and exciting evening featuring competitive matches and an exhilarating atmosphere! The JKU fans did not disappoint and their unique JKU spirit fueled the players to give it their all. Following these impressive victories, the JKU Astros can now confidently advance to the play-offs and continue giving their best to bring the championships home.
