Helene Laimer, Maria Wiesauer, Samuel Gratzl and Peter Bräumann received their sub auspiciis ‘ring of honor’, Austria’s highest award for outstanding academic achievement, at a graduation ceremony on October 28, 2018. Traditionally, the ring is always presented at graduation by the Austrian President however President Van der Bellen was unable to attend due to illness.

President Van der Bellen insisted on personally congratulating the four graduates and recently invited them to the Hofburg in Vienna to celebrate their academic success.
