The traditional Wolfang Gassner Memorial Lecture Series took place at the Vienna University of Economics and Business at the end of April. Wolfgang Gassner was a tax law professor and from the start, he strongly influenced Austrian tax law in academia and in practice. This year’s Gassner Lecture was organized by Prof. Dr. Heinz-​Klaus Kroppen, LL.M., who spoke about the future of international transfer pricing. As part of the lecture series, JKU Assoc. Univ. Prof. Dr. Thomas Bieber was presented with the main award for his post-doctorate dissertation titled "Der Einfuhrumsatz".
