At the beginning of October, speculative design was used to explore social, economic, political, ecological, and legal impact of innovative technologies at the Future-Making Lab by UnDesignUnit at the Neue(n) Sammlung | The Design Museum in Munich. LIT project managers Dr. Karin Bruckmüller and Assist. Prof. Stefan Schumann represented the JKU and took part with an event titled "We’re Designing Our Own Futures! Satellite 6. Hello, Hello Future!"

“Based on the assumption that the future begins today”, designers, scientists, academics, futurologists, artists, and business owners came together at the Future-Making Lab to not only discussed scenarios designed to benefit and meet the challenges pertaining to innovative technologies, such as drones, but also design their own future vision models. The models were subsequently presented to designer Fiona Raby.
