Following the successful two-year evaluation for the Common Research Program (CRP) carried out jointly with Pro²Future and the Austrian Center for Digital Production (CDP) since September 2019, the research center’s mid-term evaluation impressed an international panel of experts in terms of research content and organization.

Established on April 1, 2017, Pro²Future now has close to 40 employees and an approved initial COMET funding volume (2017-2021) of € 17.34 million for over 30 academic partners and over 40 industrial partners. During the first three and a half years, over 135 scientific publications have been published at the Center, of which over 80 were published at international peer-reviewed conferences and in almost 20 in scientific journals. In addition to almost 30 doctoral dissertations and over 20 graduate and undergraduate theses (finalized & in-progress), two scientists from the still very new Center have already been appointed as professors at international universities after completing a post-doc.
