The Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics & Business at Johannes Kepler University Linz invites applications for a permanent professorship position under private law for

Financial Auditing with a Focus on Digitalization and Corporate Governance

starting from March 3, 2025. The appointment is unlimited in accordance with § 98 of the Austrian Universities Act. An evaluation of the successful candidate will be conducted after a five-year period.

The successful candidate will be part of the Institute of Financial Accounting and Auditing. The successful candidate is expected to represent and further develop the field of Financial Auditing in research and teaching. The successful candidate should have experience with corporate practice. The successful candidate should also be fully fluent in German as well as proficient in English. In addition to possessing management experience, the successful candidate should be willing to be actively involved in advancing the Area Finance and Accounting, be involved in strategically positioning the JKU Business School, and independently assume administrative tasks at the university.
